Found Panorama

This photo is of the Ohio State Football field. It captivates the field really well and it is really cool how the lines curve into the middle. It adds even more depth to the field than taking a panoramic of the regular field. Because I used to live in Ohio, I really enjoyed this photo.

This photo has so many different shades of blue, and it's almost eerie yet it isn't. It has an amazing view of the ocean, and it has little blotches of other colors like green and brown that are really complimented by the shades of blue and grey.

Found Faces Story

It was a dark, stormy night in New York, New York. Lightning was striking the ground faster than people can run for shelter. Aguina Greneena was one of the many kids that got lost that horrible night. Her parents were never seen again after that, but neither was she. She ran for shelter in a city bus; little did she know, the next stop was in Chicago. Aguina was 10 years old, and officially on her own. She knew how to take care of herself; she had been taking care of herself since she was 8, but she still wanted the security of her parents. For self defense, she had her whip and taekwondo training that she started at age 3.
Aguina only saw this experience as a good thing; she was a dancer, she wanted to travel around and see what other cities had to offer for dancing. New York was not a good place for a street dancer like Aguina. She would beat anyone that challenged her to a dance battle. Her signature move was the worm; she was so good that her competition called her “No bones”. No one, other than her competition, knew she was an amazing dancer; her parents would never allow it, and her friends looked down on it. She was forced to keep it a secret.
Once Aguina got to Chicago, she knew she would have to get a job, but who would hire a 10 year old? She found a job as a hostess at a family owned diner where she was also invited to stay as long as she wanted in the apartment above; she was off to a very good start in her new life. Starting over was very hard for her at first, but she still kept dancing close to her heart.
Aguina danced every morning and every night; she would dance while setting up for opening the diner in the morning, and she would dance while cleaning up after the dinner at night. One night while she was dancing and cleaning up, Mrs. Edgar, the nice owner of the diner that let her stay upstairs, came up to her.
“Hello, dear,” said Mrs. Edgar.
“Oh, hello. I didn’t see you there. Am I doing something wrong? Do you need anything?” Aguina asked.
“Oh, why no, dear. You are perfectly fine. I just have a question for you,” said Mrs. Edgar.
“What is it?”
“You like to dance, correct?”
“Yes, I love to dance!” Aguina said.
“Do you miss learning and going to school?” Mrs. Edgar asked, already knowing the answer.
“Yes, very much so! Why do you ask?” asked Aguina suspiciously.
“I have a proposition. One of my very good friends is the founder of a dance school here in Chicago called the Chicago School of the Arts. I’m sure if I get her out here for her to see you dance, she can set you up for a full scholarship there. How would that sound?” Mrs. Edgar could hardly get all of the words in before Aguina started jumping up and down in joy.
“That would be amazing! Thank you so much! But what about the diner? I can’t live here with no charge and not be doing anything for you.”
“You can help set up in the morning and clean up at night. If you don’t have too much homework, you can help once you get home. But remember; keep your grades up. school comes first. You are a smart child. You may be 10 and very young, but you are very wise. Your mind and soul are older than your age,” explained Mrs. Edgar.
“Thank you! Thank you so much! I will not let you down! I promise!” yelled Aguina before running to Mrs. Edgar and giving her a hug. Aguina always kept her promises, but this one was one that she exceeded beyond anyone’s expectations.
Aguina later became a professional dancer; scouted into a dance company by the age of 13. She got her doctorate in dance and in psychology by the age of 22. When she entered school in Chicago at age 10, she was put into classes with 8th graders as well as freshman in high school. Aguina lived a long, happy life doing what she loved.
Despite major efforts of finding her parents, Aguina never found them. But she dedicated everything she ever did to them.
